Overview

Color Convert normalizes CSS colors, numeric channel objects, and common legacy formats into RGB, HSL, HSV, CMYK, XYZ, D50 LAB, OKLab, and OKLCH. It returns WCAG contrast, color-vision simulations, harmony palettes, gradients, and the nearest CSS named color. Alpha is composited for contrast, and APCA is explicitly unavailable pending validation. No external provider or persistent color storage is used. APCA is gated: available is false and scores/standard are null. WCAG threshold decisions use unrounded ratios; displayed ratios use two decimals. Input alpha is composited over white for black/white text; custom contrast composites the input over the supplied background, then that background over white. LAB output uses D50; XYZ uses D65. CMYK is mathematical and does not model printers or ICC profiles.
