DATPAQ Now Speaks MCP. Here Is Why That Was Not a Retrofit.

We added a Model Context Protocol server for DATPAQ. It exposes 17 tools straight from our API catalog, so any MCP compatible agent, including Claude, can call DATPAQ directly.

Why this was not a retrofit

A lot of platforms are adding MCP support the same way they added REST APIs a decade ago: as a layer on top of something that was not designed for it. DATPAQ was constructed identity first, two years ago, treating human and agent authentication as equal from day one. MCP did not require us to rethink anything. It required us to expose what was already there.

What an agent can actually do with it

Through the MCP server, an agent can run WHOIS, DNS, domain, and related lookups mid conversation, without a developer writing integration code first. The same gateway, the same verification, the same identity model that backs the CLI and the core platform backs every one of these calls.

What we are hearing from enterprise

A senior engineer at a Fortune 500 software company has been asking detailed questions about how DATPAQ organizes agent facing documentation and what we call our Four Pillars of agent native architecture. That is the kind of question that tells us this problem is bigger than us. Enterprises are already asking how their AI tools will authenticate and act on their behalf. We think MCP is becoming the standard answer, and we want DATPAQ to be one of the first places an agent goes to get real, verified data back.

Add it to Claude or any MCP compatible assistant today.

Setup instructions are at datpaq.com/mcp
